Kneemail started in 1999 and is 7 JESUS-name women from Arkansas, Florida and Mississippi that came together on the Internet to form a prayer group. Sue Massey Crocker received an E-mail prayer request dubbed a 'kneemail’, and she E-mailed friends requesting prayer, not only for that request but also for others. Subsequently praise reports of prayers answered came in, and she remembers thinking "We prayed for this!" There were a total of seven praying - God's perfect number. Sue sent an E-mail to the six friends asking them to form a prayer group and everyone agreed. Thus Kneemail was born! To date only one partner has met the entire group!

Since the group formed, over 10,000 praise reports have been received; several hundreds reported God’s healing of cancers alone Four partners sent praise reports of God restoring life after death; and three of those were within eight months! “It’s not us; it’s Kneemail praying in JESUS name. God is given all the glory.” They believe in the power of prayer in the name of JESUS. As they began to pray in and through that name their prayers were answered!
